We help bring your ideas to life.
Every One Every Day is here to connect people, spaces and resources, so that Every One in their community can take part in Every Day projects and activities.
It is supported by a group of funders that currently includes: Fife Council, Corra Foundation and The National Lottery Community Fund. The work is hosted by Corra Foundation in its first three years.

Imagine your community as a place where it’s easy to do the things you love. Imagine there are comfortable welcoming spaces close to your home that you can go to and create projects that directly benefit you, your neighbours, friends and family. Imagine being able to share your skills with other people, learn things from them, and create communities and neighbourhoods that work better for you. Imagine getting involved was free, simple and welcomed you when you had time and ideas.
Every One Every Day is an approach which encourages and supports people to get more involved in their communities. It began in Barking and Dagenham, pioneered by Participatory City Foundation. Corra Foundation are now developing the approach for Scottish places. The idea is to build the infrastructure – the spaces, resources and support – in a local area to enable people to try whatever their passionate about, in ways that make sense to their lives. It’s free, open to everyone, and designed to make it easy to get involved at whatever level, and whatever way suits you best.
Whether you decide to get involved in bringing a green space to life, or get involved in projects for cooking, making, sharing, learning or playing, these things will all add up to make everyday life better for everyone, simply by doing more things you might do every day with your friends and neighbours, instead of alone.
How it works
Community ‘Shops’

Community ‘shops’ are where it starts. They are hubs of activity and inspiration close to where you live. The shops are friendly spaces for you to pop into, have a cuppa and explore ideas you have for your community, whilst meeting other people. They’re staffed by a team of ‘project designers’ whose role it is to work with people who have ideas to turn them quickly into projects.
The shops are are accessible to all, community-designed, adaptable spaces for chatting, creating, designing ideas and doing activities.
Sometimes you might go there to take part in something, other times just to sit and have a chat, or look through the ideas other people have suggested. How you use the space is up to you!
Support and Resources

The project design team are there to help turn design ideas into projects and give support and encouragement to help ideas succeed. Equipment and spaces are drawn together quickly to kickstart projects. This means there’s less time for enthusiasm to fade.
The team organise any insurances or health and safety training that might be needed and design newspapers, flyers and emails to promote projects in the community. Most ideas are designed quickly, within a week, and added to the programme for that month.
What are your ideas for making community life even better for everyone in your community?
