Hosting in our Programme FAQS
“Do I need to be an expert?”
No, not at all. You don’t need to be an expert or have done your chosen activity or passion for a long time.
If you think “I can show people this”, then we want to hear from you. Children, teenagers and adults are all welcome to host.
If you’re still unsure, then that’s OK. You can co-host with one of our team, or with someone else you know.
“The sessions are free, so do I need to buy anything?”
No, we cover the costs of all resources and venue hire. We advertise the session in our local newspaper and online so you can focus on the good stuff – showing others what you are passionate about.
“How much time do I need to dedicate to this?”
A few hours or so. What we need from you is the opportunity to have a few casual chats with one of our team about what the idea is, what resources we need to get, and how it might run on the day (with the potential of a practice run through too).
Then come along to your session, share and enjoy!
